Ford Custom Sport Fit Out

The Brief

A complete fit-out for a Ford Transit Custom Sport SWB, designed for a heating and plumbing engineer needing maximum storage and smart organisation.

The customer requested full-length racking along both sides of the van, a half false floor with integrated pipe storage, and a secure Armorgard vault for storing expensive tools and equipment. The design also had to allow space for ladders and include dedicated compartments for toolboxes, Euro boxes, and bulkier plumbing supplies – all within the tighter dimensions of a short wheelbase van.

Final Outcome

Working within the constraints of a short wheelbase van, this fit-out achieved a high level of storage without compromising accessibility or versatility. The clever half-floor design allowed for pipe storage and drawer access, while still leaving room for longer items like ladders to be carried when needed. The mix of angled toolbox storage, Euro box racking, and open shelving gave the customer dedicated space for everything from small parts to bulky equipment like a hoover.
