The Brief
An electrical contractor approached us needing a smart, compact solution for their Peugeot Partner LWB. With two sliding doors, they wanted to retain full-height access through one of them while maximising storage in the rest of the van. Efficient use of space was essential, particularly for housing tools and a ladder securely without limiting accessibility.
They also required dedicated storage for their DeWalt TStak toolboxes, and were looking for a way to neatly organise smaller items that often get lost or take up unnecessary space in standard shelving systems.

What We Installed
- A half-sized false floor positioned to retain nearside access height
- One full-length pull-out drawer within the false floor
- Underfloor compartment dedicated to ladder storage
- Angled racking designed to fit DeWalt TStak toolboxes
- Euro box racking system accommodating 8 stackable boxes for small items
Final Outcome
The final installation achieved a clean, structured layout with smart separation between heavy-duty and smaller tools. The false floor provided the necessary storage while keeping part of the van’s full height intact, making it easier to move larger items or stand equipment upright.
The combination of custom racking for toolboxes and modular Euro box storage gave the customer a flexible system they could tailor to their working style. It struck a great balance between accessibility, security, and organisation – ideal for an electrical contractor working from a compact LWB Ford Connect van.
