The Brief
This customer came to us with a Vauxhall Vivaro SWB looking for a fully customised racking solution that would accommodate an extensive collection of Milwaukee Packout kits, along with various standard toolboxes and smaller tools. The main priority was ensuring that everything had a designated space, especially the Packout cases, which needed to be securely stored but still easily accessible.
Given the nature of the tools and equipment, the customer also wanted a system that included ample small parts storage, efficient underfloor functionality, and made the most of the van’s twin sliding doors for external access. A clean, professional finish was essential, as was keeping the layout open enough to allow for quick loading and unloading. The customer needed a layout that supported both organisation and efficiency – minimising time wasted searching for tools and materials.

Final Outcome
To meet the customer’s needs, we began by installing a half raised floor, which included a pull-out drawer, ladder storage, and cleverly divided pipe storage areas for both horizontal and vertical lengths. This maximised the underfloor space without sacrificing load capacity or accessibility.
The driver-side layout was carefully sectioned to take advantage of the van’s sliding side door, allowing external access to larger boxes. Within this area, we incorporated storage for 3 Euro boxes along with angled shelving, perfect for securing various toolboxes.
On the passenger side, we installed Euro box container racking for 9 boxes, providing excellent storage for small tools, consumables, and parts. This kept everything neatly organised and easy to access during day-to-day work.
The entire system was built and finished in 12mm hexa phenolic plywood, providing a tough, durable, and professional-looking surface that will hold up under heavy use.
