Medium vans are the workhorse of the UK trades — big enough to carry a full kit and a day's materials, small enough to park on a residential street. That's why this is our most popular range. Every layout here is designed and built at our Shrewsbury workshop, and every price includes fitting.
Every van in this class comes in short and long wheelbase, and we build for both. Some have a sliding door on each side, others just the one, so we confirm your exact model, wheelbase and door setup before anything is cut. If your van isn't listed, get in touch — we fit all the major manufacturers.
Choosing a layout
Start with what you carry most, and what slows you down when you can't get to it:
- Fixings and small parts: divider racking keeps screws, fittings and consumables sorted and in sight, with shelving below for cases.
- Pipe, conduit and long lengths: layouts with integrated pipe storage keep full lengths straight and out of the load space.
- Heavy kit: a false floor with pull-out drawers brings it out to you rather than you climbing in after it.
- High-value tools: Armorgard vault storage gives testers, press tools and batteries a locked steel box built into the floor.
- Milwaukee Packout: Packout racking is built around the cases, so each one slides straight out.
- Sheet materials: upright sheet storage holds 8×4 boards securely alongside your racking.

Built to last, fitted in a day
Every system is made from natural birch ply or hex phenolic and fixed securely into the van, so nothing works loose on the road. A racking-only or drawer-only system takes half a day. Drawers with racking, or racking with ply lining, is a full day — drop the van off in the morning and drive it home fitted.
Every installation carries a 12-month warranty, and you can spread the cost with iwocaPay, Klarna or PayPal. If you're driving three hours or more to reach us, we'll cover an overnight stay.

Will this racking fit my Transit Custom, Vito or Transporter?+
Yes. Every layout in this range is built for medium panel vans, including the Transit Custom, Vito, Transporter, Vivaro and Trafic. We confirm your exact model, wheelbase and door setup when you book and build to suit.
Do the prices include fitting?+
Yes. Every price includes professional fitting at our Shrewsbury workshop. Prices show ex-VAT by default — use the switch above the products to see them with VAT.
Can a layout be changed to suit my trade?+
Yes. These layouts are a starting point. Book a free 30-minute design consultation and we'll adjust the shelving, drawers and storage around the kit you carry, with a written quote before you commit.
Can I add to my racking later?+
Yes. Our systems are designed to be extended — extra shelves, drawer units and overhead lockers can be added to an existing Ply Van Racking installation.
